Keeping on track with the time between postings, I figure I better post something.
I've been feeling the tug of the Lord a lot lately. He really wants me to get rid of the many false gods in my life. I got rid of the satellite dish, but that's really only the beginning. There is so much to fix in this broken machine of mine. Springs sprang and clogs clogged, it seems impossible but I know the Lord is with me so I keep on pressing. I fall on a daily basis and yet as I once read, it isn't the number of times you fall that matters, it's the number of times you get back up. Praise God for lending me a hand to get back up every time.
Been reading a short book that one of my "online friends" sent me called, The One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven by Mark Cahill. Sounds funny and makes ya think? Well, witnessing to others is the answer. It's great read and I really feel like it will help me speak to others about salvation. I'm really a shy person and absolutely do not like talking to strangers if I don't have to. Thing is, I have to. Yeshua tells us, [Mat 28:19 NKJV] - 19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
This is the basic tenant of our faith in Christ and I fail miserably at it. Think of all the people we come across in a single day and don't spehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifak a word to, much less THE Word. I bothers me so I'm trying to get better about it.
Having some very awesome times in Shul lately. The worship seems to be kicked up a few notches and the sermons are too. http://www.eitz-chaim.org/default.html Check us out and if you live in the Metroplex area, stop in and visit. You won't be disappointed unless you show up on Sunday!
That's really all I have for now... see ya in the future!

yeah yeah...
I know, it's been a long time. Needless to say things are the same and yet different all at the same time. The hunting trip ti SD got cancel at the last moment which really turned out to be a blessing. No need to get into that, there are more important things; hopefully it will work out sometime next year.
Oddly enough, I'm still having the discussion about Paul vs. Yeshua with our forum member. It's frustrating to say the least to talk to someone that clearly has blinders to the truth on. Back and forth spewing the same thing (on both sides) just gets old. I try and try to not respond and get caught up in it again, but I seem to be the only person that is willing to talk about it with him. There have only been a handful of other replies from people which I find rather sad. I'd like to think that more people would read what his is posting and step up to the plate to defend their Lord and His word to us via scripture.
Putting that aside, I'm in a place now where I really feel the Lord calling me, but I'm just not really sure for what. I'm such a shy person. I can't stand talking to strangers and I know this because I once had a job as a modeling agent. I'd have to approach people and talk to them. Needless to say that only lasted for a little over a week because for me, walking up to total strangers and striking conversation (even when loaded) is just extremely difficult. I say that to say this... It's very hard for me to speak to strangers which means it's very hard for me to be a witness of the Lord. I feel that it is a basic tenant in our faith though so I struggle with it. Get me on here and I can type all day long. I've got multiple windows open so I can search the bible and find what I'm looking for all while talking to someone. Get me face to face and I just draw blanks. I think part of it is just getting used to doing it, but I fight myself over it and win.
DiG Outreach is a really cool place. Some of the guys from the forums started this up a couple/few years ago and I commend them for what they do. It intrigues me as it's something I struggle with.
Moving on... the family is good, nothing major going on. My grandma on the other hand isn't doing so well and it's really hard to watch her come to the final stages of life. I pray that she doesn't suffer or live in indignation in her last days. I saw my grandpa (her husband) like that in his last days and it haunts me to this day. So much so that I haven't visited her in over a week. It's selfish, I know, but seeing her in distress just really stresses me and .... well.... it's tough.
Until Next Time.... whenever that may be.
